After their hugely successful worldwide tour, cult electronic pioneers Kraftwerk bring their 3D music performance/installation art to Antigel. The future is now!
Kraftwerk’s multimedia project began in 1970 and by the middle of the decade the band had achieved international recognition for their revolutionary electronic soundscapes and robotics-infused musical experimentations. The Dusseldorf visionaries’ synthetic meeting between man and machine predicted the rise of technology, in the process creating the mellifluous soundtrack for our digital age.
Based on innovative techniques, synthetic voices and computerised rhythms, the German outfit’s music has had a major impact across an entire range of genres from electro to hip hop, techno and dubstep, earning sole remaining founding member Ralf Hütter a well-deserved Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.
After a retrospective at MoMA in 2012 and several performances in various prestigious venues across the world, Kraftwerk will now showcase their retro-futuristic 3D visuals at the Geneva Geneva!
