Two of the greatest hopes in French rap will set the house on fire in Onex.
He comes from La Courneuve, a district in the north of Paris whose only evocation has the whole of the Seine’s left bank shuddering. Dinos is a one-of-a-kind artist. He drifts between dreams and reality in the magical world of Richie Beats (producer of Booba, Nekfeu, Dosseh, etc.). His lyrics are powerful, his ideas too. His latest album, Taciturne, is more than ever a work that distils through his beautiful words and refined sound, the reflections of a man on his relationship with fame, his neighbourhood, religion and love.
Isha comes from Brussels. Without ever appearing to force things, Isha successfully and uncompromisingly combines real texts with scathing punchlines, and deep tracks with dirty bangers. He tells us about fallen kings, broken princesses and his Arab friends with smashed-in teeth. Isha’s lyrics are a little raw, they’re not bland. They’re sensitive, and grimy too: Isha’s rhymes echo the streets.
