Institut Florimont
A private catholic school, but open to all faiths, the Florimont Institute was founded in 1905. Respectful of past traditions, but with an eye on the future, the institute was equipped with an exceptional sports centre, with a sober and elegant design. The wooden structure looked like a table under which one would like to hide, and was covered with a roof garden that matched the Japanese garden on the inside. Today, the swish and twang of the foil echo in this eco-building, which is dedicated to the grooming of young fencers for international competition. Sports and architecture perform together in this place of vitality!
